Why did I Choose Real Estate?

The answer is simple. Home ownership is a wonderful opportunity. Being able to assist you in locating a home to purchase or marketing your home for sale is at the center of my decision to be a Realtor. I won't "sell" you anything. You will make the choices and decisions; I'll provide you with the options. Let's make the experience memorable, the transition smooth and the association lasting.

Experience in the Tri-Cities

I have lived in the Tri-Cities for over 30 years. All but the first year were by choice. That first year I was sure that this area was the end of the earth. Dirt was never my favorite color! I was unprepared to experience "quality of life" in, of all places, the Tri-Cities. Raising a family, enjoying friendships and being involved in the growth of a community create that quality. I believe owning a home is also an important facet to achieving a quality of life.

My Personal Bio

Looking back at living in Yakima WA for the first 18 years from the 50's through '66 was like being in Mayberry. I lived in Spokane through 1977 and am a grad of Gonzaga University, so I am always a "Zag". I am married to Pam, we have 6 children, together and as of 2008, 7 grandchildren. I am on the board of directors of First Night Tri-Cities, Kids Day, and involved in the Tri-Cities Chamber.

My Career

Beginning in 1968 I was fortunate enough to have been a Professional Photographer, establishing branches of Dorian Studio, both in the Tri-Cities in 1977 and Seattle in 1987. I retired from Dorian Tri-Cities in 1999 after having a part in recording memories for people throughout the Columbia Basin. In 1999, I began, my second career of assisting families and individuals in another memory of their life, buying or selling a home. Education is important to me ,and in addition to the Realtor identification I have also obtained E-Pro, ABR, & CRS and in 2005 the Associate Brokers designation.
